My first completed UFO of 2018, a little cot quilt in memory of a friends grandson.

Now back to my sewing shed for more fun. x

That is so pretty. I love the 'stuffed' butterfly it adds so much more to it then if it was just a flat applique.

ooh you have a sewing shed. I have a small box room. Mind you better than before as I used to sew on the dining room table.

Thank you ladies, now, now Letia, that is something that you must never ask a quilter... a bit like a lady and her age...

Love that doggy quilt with all the various shooflies Eileen. Love your conservatory too!

Lucky little boy Jayne. Putting me to shame. A UFO this early in the year!

Great bag Letia, super colours and love the bow.

Another 'top' to add to the UFOs until I can get to my big table out on the patio to layer it up.

This one was a challenge as it was the first time I'd done 'scrappy', my only rule was that while making the pairs and 4s, there should not be any repeats next to each other, other than that I just 'went with the flow' which was very, very hard.

That is very pretty. I try to avoid too similar scraps next to each other also. How many unfinished tops do you have?

Drinks matsRecently made a big sheet of "confetti" pieces under voile and then cut with pinking shears to make lots of drinks mats. They make good hostess presents. As always photo upside down. Good thing the glasses are empty!!
