Hi all,

I'm having a rotten time with most of my fingers at the moment so not much sewing but lots of reading going on here!

Just waiting for the op date on two of them. Anyway I would like to offer a block for May as we have made a few at my local group this past year or so.

I'll put it in my diary and add it on the 1st May!!

Best wishes to all you busy people, Sue*face 9

PS I do have my ticket for the Malvern Show so I'll soon be buying and sewing again!!

Lovely Rosemary - you've used my very, very favourite kind of fabrics - you can never have too many butterflies in my opinion

Here is my Paths and Stiles block. I didn't know it's name but I made a 9" version, using Japanese fabrics, for a PP swap in 2012 and really liked it.

Hope you were all out singing in the dawn this May morning!

The May block is foundation paper piecing.

Birdhouses from www.quilterscache.com

You could just make one birdhouse, or change it to a beach hut, or add a chimney, windows and door for a house.

Remember to use a smaller machine stitch to make tearing the paper easier.
