Shirehampton Craft Exhibition - Shire Public Hall, Station Rd, Shirehampton Bristol BS11 9TX

Opening Times 10am - 4pm (Thursday 10am - 8pm)

Shirehampton Craft Exhibition has been running for over 20 years and is a mix of different crafts including work from the quilt group Shire Stitchers. Admission 0.50p children free. tea, coffee, cakes available.

Traces Revealed: An exhibition of artwork in cloth, tile and clay by Alicia Merrett, Kate Rattray and Hiro Takahashi.

30th September 2017 to 28th January 2018

Open daily from 9am to 6pm, last entry 5.30pm. Admission prices (include exhibition, museum, extensive grounds, Lady Chapel, stunning ruins of Abbey, Abbot's Kitchen, King Arthur's tomb location): £ 7.50 adults; lower prices online, and discounts for seniors, students, and children. Full disabled access to all areas and facilities. Car and coach park next door and more in the town. Many cafes across the road and round the corner in the High Street.

Time: 10am to 4pm both days.

Venue: St Francis' Church, Thorndon Avenue, West Horndon, Essex, CM13 3TR

Entry fee : £3.50 (includes first drink/cake). Under 16s free but must be accompanied by an adult.

KENT 23rd and 24th SEPTEMBER 2017

PLUCKLEY QUILT AND CRAFT SHOW 2017 in PLUCKLEY VILLAGE HALL TN27 0QZ is on Saturday and Sunday 23rd and 24th September. Doors open at 10.30am each day and entrance is £5 to include tea/coffee and cake. Showcase by Inger Milburn, several trade stalls and some quilts for sale. There will be an auction of unsold "for sale" quilts at 4.00pm on Sunday.

Yateley based, Village Green Quilters is a group of enthusiastic quilters and textile artists ranging from beginners to national and internationally acclaimed quilters. The exhibition is being held at the popular Farnham Maltings Quilters Fair on Sunday 14th January 2018, which will host several local quilt groups and over 40 stalls selling fabric, books and related items at sale prices. The Village Green Quilters Exhibition will be showcasing a fantastic range of contemporary, art and traditional quilts as well as 3D work. Members will also be providing various demonstrations throughout the day.

TRACES is an exhibition of new mixed media and textile art work inspired by the industrial and social heritage of St Helens and the local area.

Opening times: Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm. Please note the gallery is closed on Sundays and will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday. Free entry and parking.
