Fabric Eggs

Although it might look quite complicated, this bold, contemporary quilt is made up of nothing more than simple squares interspersed with sashing (strips of plain fabric), so it’s the ideal opportunity to practice your rotary-cutting skills. Sashing gives the blocks space to breathe and gives a focus to the prints. The sashing can be made wider or narrower, depending on the desired size of the quilt, but be careful not to make it too wide or too thin!
