Portrait Quilts - Painted Faces That You Can Do

'Portrait Quilts - Painted Faces That You Can Do' by Bonnie McCaffrey

If you have ever wanted to include faces in your work then Bonnie's latest book would be ideal. Starting with the very basics; selecting your paints, brushes and fabrics and moving on in great detail to painting every section of the face. Each section is covered with close up photographs of the work at every stage. There is a full size photo of Bonnie's daughter Carly for you to practise on before moving onto your own photographs. Using Bonnie's techniques you would be able, with some practise, to produce a portrait to be proud of. This book is currently out of print but can be requested for reprint from Bonnie at Bonnie McCaffrey

Iread with interest your article on Bonnie Maccaffrey.  In the article it says that Bonnie has published a book about painted faces in patchwork. I tried to access her web-site to find out more information about it  but my computer keeps telling me that this is a fraudulent site and absoluteley refuses to log on to it. If possible do you have any info about this book ? , as i am interested in purchasing a copy . T hanks in anticipation.
