Jelly Roll Inspirations

 

Earlier this year, Pam and Nicky Lintott from the Quilt Room, along with Singer, Moda and David & Charles launched a competition called the Jelly Roll Challenge to find twelve quilts made from just one jelly roll fabric bundle, to feature in a new book. The new book is now published and is called "Jelly Roll Inspirations." It is published by David and Charles and priced £14.99. "Jelly Roll Inspirations" includes the twelve winning entries, each and every quilt has been recreated by Pam and Nicky Lintott, ensuring accuracy and providing an alternative colour variation. Each design comes with a full colour styled photograph, comprehensive making instructions and diagrams. Each quilt requires just one Jelly Roll and some additional background fabric to make, ensuring that all the projects are quick, inexpensive and fun.

 

The twelve winners were announced at the Festival of Quilts Show in August. This you tube clip includes interviews with the winners who tell us about the inspirations behind their designs.
