On my retirement in August I joined the Fleet University of the Third Age & was delighted to see they had a patchwork & quilting class, so signed up straight away as this was on my wish list of things I would like to do during my retirement. We are creating samples of many types of patchwork. Starting with a 9 patch block the first week, next log cabin & courthouse steps & last week somerset patchwork, which I found very difficult. In between these classes I have completed the lovely William Morris dress in August Popular Patchwork for my 4 year old grandaughter & made a small crib quilt with tumbleling blocks for another grandchild due in April.
