This is a cushion I made from one my samples made in the FMQ Challenge that Jan has mentioned. It's been a really useful group to belong to but unfotunately life has got in the way lately and I haven't taken part in a while..There are more samples in my FMQ album.

I've been putting out feelers to hopefully reduce my hours at work in the New Year so I may have more time to do the things I love in 2013

Ange you are a complete STAR star I hope you get reduced hours, there will be no stopping you if you do..... jan x

That is amazing Angela, a beautiful cushion I know I could never do anything remotely as good as that.

Oh yes you can Juliet FMQ has been a real bugbear of mine and this challenge has taught me that all you need is practise...as long as you have time which is short for me at the moment! This was my sample piece and as I don't like to waste anything I turned it into a cushion. If I can do it anyone can!

Thanks Irene & Pam...no not hard at all - in fact I really enjoyed it, it was really relaxing to do...like doodling with needle & thread! Just put some time aside to have a play and you'll see how easy it is

Dear Angela,

Now I've got my sewing machine set up on the Dining Room table I'll have a go at this soon! I like doodleing but never really done it by machine.

There was a monthly challenge early in 2012 when I had a quick go - but now I've forgotten what I did!!!!

Hope your request for reduced hgours is met by work - I guess they should welcome it!
