I am also a "newbie" to your forum. I found you when I was looking for a pickle dish quilt pattern and found one by one of your members. I am enjoying yor postings and hope to post some good ones myself. So "Hello" from across the pond!

So good to have you aboard the PP forum pages. We are a welcoming group of quilters. We are of varying ages as well as quilting experience all of which we all take advantage of. I myself am from across the pond living in England now for the past 8 1/2 years.

We strive to assist one another in answering all questions and queries on anything to do with whatever you need help with. I've been sewing for 46 years and quilting for about 20 of those and there are many other members who are just as experienced, and those you are just starting out. We all have a passion for our craft and posting piccies is a great way to show off your work...so we'll be looking forward to some photos in the future.

as Tessa says welcome to the P Forum, I do hope you will manage to stay with us and maybe one day !!!! join in with one or possibly two of our swaps. We have Memebers in New Zealand - Australia - France - Israel - and I am sure somewhere else which escapes me at the moment. A lot of us are spread all over the UK so we more or less have the country covered so to speak seeing as we are patchworks. Good pun huh!

Anyway, do enjoy your stay with us for however long.

Tessaa I don;t do so many now other folk have kindly taken them over for me so I can get on with my quilting and other things.

Hi Becky - I was a "newbie" here not so long ago (January this year) and I feel as if I have been part of this lovely "family" for years. I live in South West France, in the countryside, where I was struggling to find other patchworkers so the forum is just wonderful for me.

Hi Becky, welcome and hope you enjoy the forum. Everyone is so helpful and there are always projects or swaps going on. I am currently involved in my second swap group and have signed up for a third.
