I definitely like the architectural theme. I like straight lines (ask Jan) and I have several ideas. I once did a hanging reflecting the buildings in Hong Kong for my DILs parents as a thank you for a wonderful stay in Hong Kong and I think I might return to that theme in a slightly different way.

I'm saying this VERY quietly but I do believe the sun is shining! Yesterday we had sun, torrential rain, hail, thunder and lightening!

Hi all.....as I'm helping Jan, Rosemary and Katy organize this little adventure, I won't be entering the contest....BUT I will be creating a project to - hopefully - spur some of you on. I'm going to make a wallhanging, and if all works out, I'll be hand appliqueing it piece by piece and posting a picture of the progress. That's all I'll be saying about it for the time being, so you'll just have to watch this space every once in awhile to see if I have posted any updates. But for now here's the start of something new.... Picture 1 - Base Fabric and Picture 2 - First Fabric. Tessa x

Hi

I was going to back out of this as I do not have a competitive bone in my body and I do like everything I make to have a use!

I have had my machine out for my DD - she likes to make something out of very little and Mum usually provides the manual labour as she is good with ideas but doesn't sew!! A second hand foot stool for £5 plus a pair of red chenille curtains in the sale for £20 has resulted in a plush looking stool and (nearly finished) roman blind. It also started me thinking and I have an idea for this competition so I will draw it up but will have to wait a little to buy fabric......Hope I can get somthing done in time.

I've moved some messages from 'Coming soon..Temptation' as it is not very obvious what the thread is about anymore

Hi to the 4 Musketeers,

Have to admit that I am worrying a bit about having entered this challenge. I have lost 7 weeks so far with my broken leg and it seems as if I shall have my leg in a splint (the plaster cast came of on Tusday) for another month. The splint makes stairs still difficult - driving virtually impossible and ordinary daily life much slower than normal! I'm just worried that I am going ot run out of time and let the side down. I think I have to pull out - sorry about this.

Love Margaret xx
