Wedding Quilt...

At last I can say after almost two years and against all odds, the wedding quilt is finished! YAY!! This quilt has seen the loss of my mum, my dad, a close friend, miserable dental problems and a frozen shoulder...so I will more than happy to be handing it over in 4 weeks time! Having said all that it has helped me get through the emotional and literal pain and now it's time to move on and do something else.

This has been a real learning curve too. My FMQ has certainly got a lot better although I still have a long way to go! I have also loved shopping for the fabrics and even used some of my mum's fabrics to include a bit of her in it too.

I thought it would be a good idea to use cotton wadding too - wow!!!...how heavy is it now!! No wonder my frozen shoulder hurt!! It will certainly keep them warm and shouldn't slip off the bed
