Craftsy BOM - April1Craftsy BOM- April 2 These are the two blocks I did for the Craftsy BOM last month. All the hexagons are hand done but then I ran out of time and used the blind-hem stitch on the machine to apply them to the backgrounds. I have some hexagon "flowers" somewhere about but the exact location eludes me...

I told my mum that I'd shown you all a photo of her wall hanging today, and confessed that I hadn't been very complimentary about it! So I have to tell you that we do love it, and we have all stroked it today and talked about our favourite bits! Sorry Mum. embarrassed

Hi Glenda

I just drew some diamonds myself. You need to decide if you want diamonds for an eight or six point star, and how big they are. I chose eight point with one inch sides.

Draw a vertica line down some paper top to bottom and then mark the point for the length of each side.

For eight point star diamonds, you need to draw diagonal lines across the paper at 45 degress at each point. Use 60 degrees for six points.

Then mark the same length side down two of your diagonal lines and draw in vertical lines connecting those points.

I will draw you a diagram, that will explain it better!

This is my sister Doria's UFO,she died six years ago she loved Hexagons but I was never keen on them, so it is still a UFO. I did put the border on though. Sorry it's a bit creased. Juliet
