Hi Ladies, the news about Jytte has spurred me into action. I have a friend who seems to be winning at the moment and I had been toying with the idea of making a quilt and raffling it to raise money! Now I am actually DOING it! It occurred to me that lots of you might like to help so................. here's what I'd like you to do.

Please send me a 4 patch block in PINK and CREAM based on a 4inch square made into half square triangles. If I'm confusing you then look at the new album I've just created, 1 x 4ins. square of pink and one of cream will make 2 blocks like the first one, 4 of those squares can be joined in so many ways, I have shown just 4 in the album, there must be sooooooo many more AND they don't have to be regular or symetrical. ANY shade of pink is fine, from the palest to the brightest to the darkest. If you'd like to add a particular name to your block then please do so!
Jan has agreed to quilt it when we get that far and my LQS started me off with a special deal on some more pinks so I will start sewing tomorrow!

Please pm me if you need my snail mail address.
Best
Rosemary

Hi Rosemary

Do you mean 4" finished, so it is an 8"square block finished( + 1/2" seam) allowance?

No Jill, I meant start with a 2x 4 inch squares and make them into half triangle squares So these will be 3 3/4 ins (I think) and then join them together so the finished 4 block will be approx 7 ins. I just thought it would be easier to start with 4 inches!! Hope this makes sense now?1
