The picture on the postcard I made for Helen is cut out of fabric. There are all different pictures in a panel size and I took just that part of it as it suited the subject so well.

Hi Katy, if I remember tomorrow, I'll take a few photos of the other pieces of fabric so you can see what I mean....they are all quite cute and all deal with quilting and sewing.

Your 21 again "wish" poscard arrived today - thank you very much - both my DH and I had a really good laugh when we thought about wishing to be 21 again!

I hope you have a picture to put on the forum because I don't seem to manage to get it on.

Actually 21 in Israel does not have the meaning  it had in England or South Africa where I grew up. Then 21 was "becoming an adult" being free to sign contracts etc. In Israel the age is 18 - then young people are called up to the army and given voting rights and the right to drink alchohol in pubs etc. 18 also has a special meaning here - because originally the Hebrews did not have numbers, and the letters took the place of numbers a =1, b=2 and so on. 18 in hebrew letters is Chai which means life.

It will join all the wonderful postcards and bookmarks I have received !

Hi All,

I have had the most amazing Postcard arrive from Maggi B. She has had lots of family worries of late but bless her she made my postcard for me and also sent me a most wonderful gift along with it as an apology. Not needed Maggi I know the stress you have been under.

Here is my beautiful Postcard she says she couldn;t find the VASE so has sent the BUD instead.....I love love love it. Thank you Maggi.
