| 120 forum posts 22 photos | Helen Your 5 colour pc will be on its way to you later today We got our raffle quilt basted on Tuesday in time for the village fair, but the weather is so bad, wet, windy and cold, that the group has decided not to do the fair, since there's no shelter, so maybe I didn't need to rush putting it together, still, it's done. 5698 forum posts 1170 photos 4 articles | Hi Sandy, I love yellow[s] but I do understand a lot of folk don't so I didn;t use it for my one for this. but if anything pops up again I may just use it...hee hee With the weather the way it is right now I wish I had the person who got it would have had a cheerful little 6 x 4 space to look at. Instead of rain rain rain rain grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sick of it now. |

826 forum posts 136 photos | That is amazing since our April has been so dry - again - as usual!! I too love yellow - hence my birthday block coours. I had yellow roses for my wedding but the heat 42C made them droop so quickly. Love to all |

2249 forum posts 326 photos | I once read that quilters find yellow a difficult colour to use so I made a conscious effort to buy some and now have a nice little pile on the shelf! It is difficult to use though, despite being one of my favourite colours. (Most of the rooms in this house have been yellow at some point and even though the front room is now neutral, I've just noticed the curtains are definitely on the yellow side of beige...) Sandy, I have a yellow climbing rose outside the window here! It reminds me of the half-remebered wallpaper in my parent's bedroom when I was tiny. |

| 542 forum posts 7 photos | Hello Franciose. About an hour ago I had a lovely surprise. Together with a pile of rubbishadverts which my little dog was merrily chewing was an envelope probably had been delivered (yesterday and stuck in box) a beautiful springlike card, thankyou so much. The weather has been dreadful for weeks, last night a bad thunderstorm and another wet day, so your card came at an opportune moment to cheer us up. love Helen G. |
