1098 forum posts 144 photos | Nothing yet Pam, will let you know. Last year, hubby was frustrated at me not opening the envelopes as they arrived. This year, all I get is "oh it's your sewing thing again" Oue mail is being more rubbish than usual and they are talking about knocking deliveries down to three a week instead of five! Seems too many of us are emailing and there is not such high demand for posties! With all the mail I get from you lot, my postie should be safe. Cathy |

1098 forum posts 144 photos | Glenda I know our New Zealand Post is lousy, but it should get here before my birthday - its got almost 4 weeks. And Mike has just rung to say "you have got heaps more parcels, must be from your sewing biddys". Cheeky beggar, can't wait to get home and see who they are from. It is freezing here, very heavy frost this morning, finally said goodbye to a lousy summer. Cathy |

Moderator 4400 forum posts 396 photos | Hi Karen, Normally, you are asked to fill in a customs slip if there is something in the envelope other than just paperwork. If you tell them there is fabric in the parcel with a birthday card the customs slip needs to be filled in. Paperwork apparently is exempt from that. It also makes a big difference on the cost of the postage as well. Tessa |
