2012 Birthday Club

Roll up for the 2012 Birthday Club! Alison and I are going to run this next year. Thanks very much to Alison and Ros for running the 2011 Birthday Club so well, and to Jan for starting it up in 2010. Everyone seems to have enjoyed it a lot, I’ve enjoyed hearing about all your squishies arriving, and I hope that lots of you will join in next year. I have left it a bit late in the day, I only volunteered yesterday, so we’ve got a quick cut off date for signing up, so that we can all have enough time for January birthdays. And special thanks to Ros for writing a good introductory template last year, you may recognise some of this post!

The 2012 gift:

You can choose between Fabric or a Block, and everyone will send/receive a birthday card (handmade or otherwise).

leave a message on this thread by 24th November saying you would like to join, AND send Katy a PM with the following details:

The block will be an 8 or 9in block, sashed to 12in finished square. We will give you the full instructions (with a link to Quilter's Cache website), with a month's notice so you have plenty of time to make blocks. As it is already quite late, we need to get organised for any January birthdays, so we’ll let you know about those as soon as possible.

As with last years Birthday Club, this is a commitment for 12 months, and it is really hard on everyone if people drop out. So please be sure that you are willing and able to see it through. We do understand that sometimes life comes before quilting, but please join with the intention of sticking with it.
