I think your hedgehogs are great. Do you have a bit of a sanctuary? We regularly have hedgehogs around in the garden.

512 forum posts 15 photos | Oh aren't they gorgeous! We found one in the garden last year while clearing a space for a path. I picked it up with gardening gloves on, showed the kids then put it in another overgrown area of the garden. I don't know whether or not it stayed. X |

2607 forum posts 447 photos | Don't think I will take many more photos of them as they don't like the light/flash.Also they run away from me so want to just let them get on with it.Also don't want to bore everyone with hog chat when we are supposed to be a patchwork site!!!![]() |

2607 forum posts 447 photos | Most of today has been spent meeting up with a hedgehog rescue lady, tracking down and buying Dog sausage for the hogs and moving their home to a shady place in the garden! Next DH is going to drill through our brick wall at bottom of garden to give them a little run out to the playing field at the back of our house. So hopefully when they go they will return for their sleep in the' nicest hedgehog house 'the lady has ever seen!!! I would like to keep them enclosed but it is not fair on them as they need to travel for their food, then they won't need too much dog sausage! Was supposed to be vacuuming the house but guess that can wait now until tomorrow,as no group until Friday afternoon. |
