I'd love to read the next book - the Bishop's Daughter - can I go on the list please?

Marion, What an amazing life the Amish have! It reminded me a little of my early upbringing. I grew up in rural Oxfordshire in a very small community, surrounded by farms and there was just the one school-house, nobody had cars just bikes and tractors!! I think this was pretty unusual even then (1960s). Worringly, everyone shared the same surname!!!!!!!!

I love their simple life style. Sounds like you had a fantastic childhood in the country. That's so funny about the surnames but it was probably common for that to happen back then. Family never ventured far from the home in tight-knit communities.

Wished I'd had a childhood like that.
