I love this pattern Rosemary - it looks so effective and clever - your curved piecing is great.

Wow, you are so clever.  I have trouble stitching in straight lines snd getting everything to line up.  All you ladies are so clever, hopefully one day I will reach you standards.  My grandson has just seen your quilt picture - he's 31/2 - and wants mama to make one.  Hopefully he'll change his mind.
love Sarah

Hi Sarah
this was my second ever quilt, it really is NOT as difficult as you might think. It came from an old Popular Patchwork mag I was given and I adapted it slightly to do what I wanted!
Glad you like it
Best wishes

Hi Irene - life is just flying along - working 5 days a week now, and ferrying DS around is keeping me away from the PC and sewing too! Not enough hours in the day But I would be moaning if I wasn't busy.
Just wish  had more time to sew - getting lots of hand sewing done whilst watching swimming / football etc, but the progress isn't as much.

Hi Rosemary
What a really lovely quilt so effective and different. Love the blues and greens you've chosen too.  Wish we had more classes and teachers in this part of N.Yorks.
