Cathy and Sylvia wanted to join an old strip swap yesterday, so I wondered if anyone else is keen? We need to choose a theme, I was thinking about florals, or japanese or repro style fabrics. Any takers, and any requests for theme, let me know here. Usual rules apply, when the theme is decided, we each buy one metre of the required fabric, cut fourteen 2 1/2in strips across the width, send them to me with an SAE, and I will send you a set of 14 assorted strips back. Overseas members are welcome, but we have to sort out the postage from here rather than an SAE.

Cut off date for signing up will be 15th July, we need fourteen or more swappers to get going.

Hi Katy

I'd like to join in.

Personally, I'm not a great lover of florals. I am not keen on repros, unless they are geometric. Japanese would be great. Or, we could just pick a colour theme?  I am happy to go with the flow.

Hi Katy

Count me in please.  I can send a £5 note in with my strips and we can use any change for a coffee or a drink at FoQ.  I owe you one anyway for that old handbag mag you sent me.
Agree with Margaret S about florals and repros.  I like Japanese but don't actually have any or a shop here in Andorra.  Maybe I could buy a metre off a quilter here if that's what everyone else would like.

OK, so we're going for Japanese at the moment, we might need to restrict that a bit more to a colour or colour group, but we'll see what everyone else thinks later.
I could order some fabric for you Sylvia when I buy mine. I don't have a LQS either, but I do use t'internet a lot!

Hi, I'm quite interested,  NOT florals or retro for me, Japanese sounds OK but it would depend on colour and whether I can find some suitable fabric in my local shop. I do use the internet but do prefer to see the fabric first, especially for something "special"
Best wishes
Rosemary

Hi Katy,

Count me in...I like Japanese fabrics and we have some gorgeous ones to choose from at the shop.  Any colour ways will do as well as they all seem to blend so beautifully.
