Well done Louisa. Clever you. I haven't managed to do this Square Dance yet. I love the butterflies and it looks like ladybirds? You must be very proud of your daughter Glenda.

I am very proud of her she really enjoys her sowing as she is haveing a hard time at school at the moment with the other children . Yes you was right there is a lady bird on one of the flowers, she painted the picture herself as I was doing one at the same time

What a clever girl you are Louisa.  If you can do free machining like that at 8 you will be a real whizz when you are a bit older.  Wish I had started young.  Love the butterfly.  I have done a couple of these square dances and didn't think to put anything other than flowers on.

Katy,
my recipient knows it was me that sent her 'Journal', as I signed it and sent a card. Was it supposed to be a total secret? coz if it was then, OOOPS!.

Thank you Glenda! Your square dance is lovely, it was waiting for me in my pile of holiday post this morning, so apologies for not thanking you and posting the picture sooner. It was definitely the nicest and most welcome bit of post in the pile! Thank your for the lovely card too. I got home from Cornwall last night, I had taken my Journal for a friend with me, and had expected to post it to my friend from Cornwall, but I didn't take a mat and ruler for trimming, so I shall trim and bind it today, and post it tonight. Today's moral is to pack more sewing stuff when going on holiday!
