1017 forum posts 170 photos | Fascinating Sylvia - Can you tell me where you got the pattern for this design please - is it from a particular book or designer?
It's mesmerising and very clever

141 forum posts 85 photos | Thanks. I made it ages ago. Started it with a friend from Berko Quilters. It was obviously in a book but am afraid I don't know which one. Shame on me. I referred to it as a 3 dimensional block in my notes but that's all I know. I have just googled it and found cqout.co.uk which has ready cut diamonds and examples of similar things. Guess what makes mine different is that some of the diamonds are pieced. You have to piece some shortways and some longways to get the effect. Try it and let me know.
I love looking at all your albums up on the website. It's all making me more keen to get on with things. Great. |
