This is so girly, Cathy - wonderful!!

Where did it come from - did you make it up yourself or have you been saving it until the opportunity came along?

It looks great and it must have taken you a long time to get all the detail right - well done!!  I''m sure she must have been delighted with it!

Cathy, that is just fabulous! So colourful, and all that applique! How long did it take you? My grandaughter is only four and a half, but give her a couple more years, and the way she's going, I can see  her wanting something just like that! She already walks, (or rather, tries to walk) around the house in her Mum's high heels!  It's a great quilt.

Thank you all so much.  I have only just found your comments!

It is a block of the month that I did, especially with Sally in mind.  My son swore he would never curl up under it as it was so pink and girly, but what did I see, several times when I was in England?

I also have another one, for young guys who like surfing and the beach, hope to find time to do it one day.

I will probably do this one again, as I have had so many comments on it.  It would be a great way to use up scraps as some of the peices are quite small.

any one want to give it a go?

Hi Cathy, what a lovely, gorgeous, girly quilt!
I have 4 teenage granddaughters who would do anything for a quilt like this! (and thanks to a certain mouse, I have lots of small pieces of fabric too!)

If you do have the pattern and are able to copy it, I would love to do it too
