Quilting your quilts through a domestic sewing machine can be a bit tricky...
I know as I have been doing it for years...two years ago I bought an Inspira Quilting Frame and Mega Quilter....and now I not only do my own quilts I do customers quilts too...can you believe I find it very...relaxing!
Here is one I did earlier.

11 forum posts 251 photos | Thanks Susan,it was my knees crawling around the floor on the big quilts that decided it...I had to do it...I only went for a look at the Knitting and Stitching show and I heard myself saying .....who do I make the cheque out to!
The other good thing is no pinning and it is so quick, I will be doing one on Wednesday and will let you all have a look after binding is sewn on.

395 forum posts 40 photos | You know what Dusie, I am SO jealous, I will be stalking Martha on the New English Quilt Frame stand again at this years FOQ and I will be thinking that I need to save my pennies to buy the frame and the Juki machine she recommends - £2000 or so in all..... if my family just ate Baked Beans on Toast between now and FOQ 2010 I could probably afford it.... BB in Toast are healthy and nutritious.....anyone see a problem with the plan?!?!? |
