I have finally put the label on the back and it is ready to wrap for my daughter's 25th on Monday.

She chose which blocks she wanted and most of the fabrics [including the pebbles one which I didn't think she'd like] but left it up to me how I made them.

I chose the applique based on her favourite animals and her pet Belgian hare rabbit. She has adored ladybirds since the age of 3.

The first photo is the right hand side and the second is of the left hand side.

Something for her to treasure. She could also use it as a big table runner ???

Thanks Irene,

she'd have to buy a table first Sylvia, she lives in a one bed flat , which she has nicely furnished but she hasn't seen the need for a table yet. She reckons that a table makes her too grown uplaugh

well she burst into tears when she opened it up today. So as they were tears of joy she must have liked it. it is now on her bed. so a job well done me thinks.

We had a great day out in York and had a fantastic pub meal in the Eagle and Child, High Petergate.. All cooked on the premise.

Wow, that's lovely Eileen. Tears of pure joy I'm sure.

Just a little art quilt made for our art quilt group. This month we celebrated the textile artist Annemieke Mein. I don't think she would be very impressed with my efforts.
