wow Margaret they are all lovely. the qayg is colourful . will you be able to keep gizmo off it or wont it matter? I am sure the family will love them especially when they realise who they belonged to.

Wow from me too Margaret. Love gizmo and his name (!) and what he obviously thinks is his rug.

Guess it will be quite hard parting with those two beautiful wallhangings.

Thank you for your kind comments. Gizmo thinks that he is gorgeous too! As he insists on sitting on my chair he will be sitting on the throw. It keeps the seat clean.

Sylvia, he is one of our two Romanian rescue dogs and the rescue centre out there had already named him Gizmo. The name amused me so I kept it. There is another Gizmo living nearby but he is a big Staffie cross!

Windows on batikReverseMy latest project, cathedral windows made the easy way with 4inch squares. An assortment of batiks with some plain white sheeting fabric. I’ve always been fascinated with this pattern and I’m quite pleased with how it’s turned out for a first try.

Thanks for your comments, yes it was really easy. There’s a couple of videos on YouTube which are really helpful. Just look up easy cathedral windows 😀 . It’s quite bulky to quilt, you need to have good needles, I just asked the lovely lady at my local quilt shop for her advice.
